Shadow Run
Shadow Run is at Elliot and Dobson Roads in Chandler, Arizona. A mile east of the Price Freeway (101). Turn right on Elliot, the community entrance is immediately on the left (north).
Shadow Run is a condo style community with multiple common walls, tile roofs and stucco siding constructed mostly from 1985-1987. A few additional buildings were built in 1997. All buildings are two stories with home entrances on both levels.
77 homes were built. 11 of them are 746 square feet with 2 bedrooms (all on the ground floor), 5 are 886 square feet with 2 bedrooms, 42 are 1005 square feet with 2 bedrooms and 19 are 1182 square feet with 2 bedrooms.
There is a wonderful community swimming pool located in the heart of the community.
Shadow Run students attend Frost Elementary, Hendrix Junior High School and Dobson High School. Frost and Hendrix are on Summit, just to the northeast of the community. Dobson is one mile north on Guadalupe road.
Dobson Ranch Golf Course is an 18-hole championship golf course featuring mature landscaping and large greens. Twice voted Best Public Golf Course by readers of a popular Valley entertainment guide, golfers appreciate the excellent course condition and playability. There's also a lighted driving range and putting green. P.G.A. golf instruction is offered for players of all ages and abilities. Free junior clinics are held each summer following the end of the school year. Kokopelli Golf Course is a spectacular championship course covering over 150 acres of rolling hills and featuring seven serpentine lakes with fountains. Even though many of the greens are severely undulating offering tricky putts, this daily-fee course was basically designed for the public to be challenging but fair without being overly difficult.(GolfGuideweb.com)
